Copilot Money Review (2026)
Copilot Money is an automatic spending and investment tracker for Apple users: native apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac, plus a web app since December 2025, but no Android app. It costs $95 a year or $13 a month after a one-month free trial, and it is available only in the US. Pick it if you want transactions sorted for you and a tidy view of where money went.

You can subscribe through Apple (iPhone, iPad or the Mac App Store) or directly through Stripe on the web or the Mac direct download; cancel where you subscribed.
How Copilot Money works
You connect bank, card, investment and crypto accounts. Copilot pulls in transactions and its auto-categorization, which it calls Copilot Intelligence, assigns categories and, Copilot says, learns your habits over time. You review new transactions, set monthly budgets per category and watch spending against them.
Budgets can roll over: in a hypothetical month you budget $400 for dining out and spend $350, so the unused $50 carries into next month's dining budget, which then starts at $450.
Other screens cover recurring charges and subscriptions, savings goals tied to accounts, cash flow over time and investment performance against market indexes. Some setup still needs the Apple apps: Copilot's web FAQ lists rule creation, adding real estate and the Amazon and Venmo integrations as not yet on the web.

A good fit if
- You use an iPhone or Mac and want an app that feels native there.
- You want spending categorized for you and only plan to review it.
- You hold investments or crypto and want them next to your budget.
Look elsewhere if
- You or your partner use Android: Monarch Money has apps for both phones.
- You want two people with their own logins: Monarch Money supports separate household members; Copilot shares one account.
- You want a free tool: Empower tracks net worth and spending for free.
Limitations to know
- Copilot is available only in the US. [4]

- Sharing means signing the partner in with a Magic Link, and every signed-in device has full control of the account. [10]

Security and privacy
- Copilot connects most banks through Plaid and some through Mastercard, MX and Akoya. It says it encrypts all data at rest and in transit and runs on Google Cloud. [6]
