Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
WealthyPot uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance user experience, analyze website traffic, and personalize content. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage them.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function properly, remember user preferences, and improve user experience.
2. Cookies and Tools We Use
- Essential storage: your light/dark theme and your cookie choice are kept in your browser's local storage. These never leave your device.
- Google Analytics (analytics): counts visits and shows which pages are read. Sets
_gacookies when you allow analytics. - PostHog (analytics and session recordings): shows how visitors use our pages and calculators, so we can find and fix what is confusing or broken. When you allow it, PostHog sets a first-party cookie (
ph_..._posthog) and may record your session: clicks, scrolling and page changes. Text you type into fields is masked and never recorded, and so are calculator results, which repeat the numbers you enter. Calculators keep your inputs after the#in the page address, a part we never send to PostHog. Recordings are kept for 30 days. - Google AdSense (advertising): shows ads and measures them. With your consent, ads can be personalized; without it, Google shows non-personalized ads.
3. Your Choice
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask before setting any analytics or advertising cookies. Until you click Accept, Google tags run in a no-cookie mode and PostHog only counts the visit anonymously, without cookies and without recording the session. Visitors from other regions have analytics on by default.
You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
4. How to Manage Cookies
You can control and disable cookies through your browser settings. Steps vary by browser:
- Google Chrome: Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Site Data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Go to Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Go to Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Go to Settings > Privacy, Search, and Services > Cookies and Site Permissions.
Blocking certain cookies may affect website functionality and user experience.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by the third-party services listed above (Google and PostHog). Their privacy policies explain how they handle data: Google and PostHog.
6. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the website implies acceptance of the updated policy.
