Stock Analysis Review (2026)
Stock Analysis (stockanalysis.com) is a financial data site for investors who want clean income statements, balance sheets, ratios and a stock screener without a big subscription. The one thing to know: there is no free trial, but paid plans come with a 60-day money-back guarantee that you have to request by email. Pro costs $9.99 a month or $79 a year; Unlimited costs $29 a month or $16.58 a month billed yearly.

What Stock Analysis costs
| Plan | Paying monthly, 1 year | Annual plan, 1 year | 3 years (cheapest way) | Annual plan saves |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Freefree account with ads | $0 | - | $0 | - |
| Pro | $119.88 | $79 | $237 | $40.88 (34%) |
| Unlimited$16.58 a month billed yearly; our total, not printed by Stock Analysis | $348 | $198.96 | $596.88 | $149.04 (43%) |
Our arithmetic from the listed prices, before sales tax, assuming today's prices hold; subscriptions can renew at a different rate. Real-time Nasdaq and NYSE prices carry no extra exchange fee. The Unlimited yearly figure is $16.58 x 12; the exact charge appears at checkout. There is no free trial; the 60-day money-back guarantee is the way to try a paid plan, and you have to ask for the refund by email.
How Stock Analysis works
Stock pages bring together financial statements, ratios, dividends and analyst forecasts, with a longer history for paid users. Stock Analysis says its fundamentals come from S&P Global Market Intelligence and Fiscal AI, real-time prices from Cboe, and analyst ratings from S&P Global and TipRanks. The screeners cover stocks, ETFs and IPOs; Pro lets you save screens, pick from 300+ indicators and see up to 1,000 rows. There is also a technical chart and a fundamental chart, an earnings calendar and an IPO calendar.
The free site is supported by ads. Pro removes them and adds unlimited watchlists and portfolios, broker holdings sync, 100 alerts and 1 download a day to Excel, CSV or Google Sheets. Unlimited is the same as Pro without the download, watchlist and alert caps. Stock Analysis says the yearly discount is 34% on Pro and 43% on Unlimited.
A hypothetical first year on Pro: paying monthly costs $9.99 x 12 = $119.88, and the yearly plan costs $79, which saves $40.88. If you pay $79 and decide within 60 days that it is not for you, you email for a refund and are out $0; if you only cancel, the plan simply does not renew and the $79 stays spent. Unlimited works the same way: $29 x 12 = $348 monthly against about $198.96 yearly.

- Broker holdings sync from about 40 brokerages on Pro
- Names its data suppliers on a public page

- Free-tier limits are not spelled out on the pricing page
Who Stock Analysis fits, and who should skip it
A good fit if
- You want readable financial statements and ratios going back 10 years or more for a low yearly price.
- You want your brokerage holdings in one watchlist without typing them in.
- You want to try a paid plan with your money back if you ask within 60 days.
Look elsewhere if
- You want to pull the data into your own code: Stock Analysis has no API; OpenBB is a Python toolkit built for that.
- You trade from charts and want strategy backtesting: TradingView.
- You want macro dashboards and analyst estimates side by side: Koyfin.
Limitations to know
- OTC stocks, mutual funds and most non-US exchanges are usually delayed 15 minutes, and some exchanges show end-of-day prices only. [6]
- There is no API or other programmatic access to the data. [8]
- Every plan renews automatically at the end of its month or year until you cancel in your account. [5]
- Cancelling a subscription does not trigger a refund; you must request it within 60 days. [4]
- Broker sync goes through a third-party provider, and Stock Analysis says the list of supported brokerages can change. [9]

Security and privacy
- Stock Analysis says "We do not sell personal information for money", but its ad partners use hashed email and IP addresses, and it says that sharing may count as a "sale" under California law. It honors the Global Privacy Control opt-out signal. [12]
- Paid plans remove the ads. [1]
- Broker sync runs through a third-party provider, not Stock Analysis itself; its help page does not describe the connection as read-only, so check what access you grant when you link an account. [9]
- We did not confirm Stock Analysis's two-factor login options on a vendor page for this review.

Stock Analysis FAQ
Is Stock Analysis free?
Yes, you can use the site with a free account and no payment details, with ads. Stock Analysis does not list the free limits on its pricing page; Pro adds longer history, saved screens, broker sync, alerts and downloads.
How much does Stock Analysis Pro cost?
Pro is $9.99 a month or $79 a year. Unlimited is $29 a month or $16.58 a month billed yearly (about $198.96 a year by our math). Both come with a 60-day money-back guarantee instead of a free trial.
Does Stock Analysis have real-time data?
For Nasdaq and NYSE stocks, yes, at no extra fee: prices refresh every 5 seconds for free users and stream for paid users, including extended hours. OTC stocks, mutual funds and most non-US markets are usually 15 minutes delayed.
Is Stock Analysis Pro worth it?
If you read financial statements and want 10 or more years of history, saved screens and broker sync, $79 a year is a low price for that, and the 60-day refund lets you check. If you buy index funds and hold them, the free site is likely enough; see our guide to the <a href="/average-stock-market-return/">average stock market return</a> for what a simple index approach has delivered.
Stock Analysis vs Finviz?
Both have stock screeners. Stock Analysis covers global stocks and gives longer financial history and broker sync on Pro ($79 a year). <a href="/stock-analysis-tools/finviz/">Finviz</a> covers US stocks only and is known for its heatmap; Elite costs $299.50 a year and adds alerts, exports and an API.
How we researched this review
We did not get paid or receive a free account for this page. We read Stock Analysis's own pricing page, help center, security and privacy pages and app-store listing on October 19, 2026, quoted each fact from those pages, and link every one below. We did not run a long-term hands-on test, so we do not score the app; where a point rests on what the company says rather than something we can check, we attribute it to Stock Analysis. Cost figures are our own arithmetic. We re-check prices and plans about once a month and log changes in the table above.
