TipRanks suits investors who want to see what Wall Street analysts, insiders and other experts say about a US stock, and how often each of them has been right. The one thing to know: the 30-day money-back guarantee covers yearly plans bought on the website only, not monthly plans. List prices in TipRanks' checkout are $35 a month or $359 a year for Premium, and the plans page showed a 55% discount on October 19, 2026.

Our arithmetic from the listed prices, before sales tax, assuming today's prices hold; subscriptions can renew at a different rate. The table uses list prices from TipRanks' own checkout catalog (US, October 19, 2026). Its 3-year column multiplies the yearly price; TipRanks also sells 3-year plans for $718 (Premium) and $1,198 (Ultimate). On October 19, 2026 the plans page showed "55% OFF", with Premium at $13.50 a month and Ultimate at $22.50 a month as displayed; the cards did not say how that price is billed or for how long, so check the terms at checkout. The plans page also names a Plus tier, which we could not price. TipRanks sells separate paid newsletters as well.
How TipRanks works
TipRanks collects the published ratings of Wall Street analysts on US stocks, plus what insiders, hedge funds, bloggers and individual investors are doing, and ranks each expert by their record. On a stock page you see the consensus, the price targets and who is behind them.
The Smart Score condenses eight factors into one number from 1 to 10: analyst ratings, insider transactions, blogger opinions, individual investor sentiment, hedge fund activity, news sentiment, technicals and fundamentals. Scores of 8 to 10 mean "Outperform". TipRanks publishes the factors but not their weights. It also says: "The TipRanks Smart Score performance is based on backtested results. Backtested performance is not an indicator of future actual results." Past performance of any score does not predict returns, so read it as a summary, not a buy signal. A hypothetical at list prices: Premium paid monthly for a year costs 12 x $35 = $420, against $359 for the yearly plan, so yearly saves $61. For Ultimate it is 12 x $54.95 = $659.40 against $599, a $60.40 saving. The yearly plan also brings the 30-day money-back guarantee, which monthly plans do not have. Any discount shown on the plans page changes these numbers, so compare the checkout total with the list price.

- You prefer a monthly plan, or a yearly plan with a 30-day money-back window.

It is worth it if you want to judge analyst ratings by who issued them, along with insider and hedge fund activity. Buy yearly if you buy at all: monthly plans have no refunds, while yearly plans bought on the website have a 30-day money-back guarantee.

There is a free Basic plan, but its limits were not readable on TipRanks' pages. Premium and Ultimate are paid. We found no free trial.
