GuruFocus is a research site for value investors who want deep fundamentals, valuation tools and the holdings of well-known fund managers, drawn from SEC filings. The one thing to know: the 7-day trial turns into a paid term on its own, and since July 13, 2026 nothing is refunded once billed. Premium for the US market costs $549 a year, and each extra region costs more.

Our arithmetic from the listed prices, before sales tax, assuming today's prices hold; subscriptions can renew at a different rate. Each extra market region adds $369 to $499 a year. GuruFocus's own pricing data (June 2026) also listed a one-month US Premium price of $69 and multi-year terms of $1,049 (2 years) and $1,399 (3 years), but its Terms say the initial minimum term is 12 months; we could not confirm whether a month-to-month plan is sold, so the table shows annual prices only. It accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal and checks.
How GuruFocus works
GuruFocus combines a fundamentals database with a record of what professional investors own. Guru pages track the holdings and trades of more than 8,000 institutional investors, taken from SEC 13F, 13D and N-PORT filings. GuruFocus says 13F-based trades typically show up 1 to 4 months after they happen, so you are seeing old positions, not live moves. Around that sit an all-in-one screener, a DCF calculator, insider trades and stock comparison tables, aimed at value investing.
Its own rating is the GF Score, a 0 to 100 rank built from five parts: Financial Strength, Profitability Rank, Growth Rank, GF Value Rank and Momentum Rank, with profitability and growth weighted fully and the rest less. GuruFocus says the score is "closely correlated to the long-term performances of stocks by backtesting from 2006 to 2021." That is a vendor backtest, not an independent result. GuruFocus's own disclaimer says: "Under no circumstances does any information posted on GuruFocus.com represent a recommendation to buy or sell a security." Past performance, including backtests, does not predict future results.
Prices are set per market region, which is the cost to plan for. A hypothetical investor who wants US, European and Canadian stocks on Premium pays $549 + $499 + $369 = $1,417 a year. If that investor starts the 7-day trial on October 1 and forgets to cancel, the yearly charge goes through when the trial ends on October 8, and under the July 2026 Terms none of it is refundable.

- You want a DCF calculator, valuation lines and long fundamentals history in one place.
- You invest in several markets and are willing to pay per region.
Look elsewhere if

Security and privacy

- A related company, GuruFocus Investments, LLC, has been an SEC-registered investment adviser since December 8, 2021, with no disclosures flagged on the SEC's adviser database as of October 19, 2026. The GuruFocus FAQ says GuruFocus.com itself is not a registered adviser. [9]

Does GuruFocus give refunds?
Not any more. Since its Terms were updated on July 13, 2026, monthly and annual subscriptions are final once billed, with no prorated refunds. Older pages and reviews that mention a 30-day money-back guarantee describe the previous policy.
How current is the guru data on GuruFocus?
Most guru holdings come from quarterly 13F filings, which GuruFocus says lag the trade date by 1 to 4 months. Its Real Time Picks, from other filings, typically appear within 1 to 2 weeks.
