Stock Events Review (2026)

Stock Events is a dividend and earnings calendar for iPhone, Android and the web, for investors with a small stock portfolio who want to see upcoming payouts and reports in one place. The one thing to know: Pro ($7.99 a month or $49.99 a year) does not include broker sync, which is a separate Connect add-on at $0.99 a week. The free plan tracks up to 15 stocks.

What Stock Events costs

PlanPaying monthly, 1 yearAnnual plan, 1 year3 years (cheapest way)Annual plan saves
Free$0-$0-
Pro$95.88$49.99$149.97$45.89 (48%)
Connect add-on$0.99 a week, billed weekly, on top of any plan----

Our arithmetic from the listed prices, before sales tax, assuming today's prices hold; subscriptions can renew at a different rate. Prices are in US dollars. Connect is billed weekly, so it has no monthly or yearly price: $0.99 x 52 weeks = $51.48 a year by our math. The 7-day Pro trial converts to the yearly plan, not the monthly one.

How Stock Events works

You add the stocks and ETFs you own or follow, and Stock Events builds a calendar of the events tied to them: earnings dates, dividend payments and economic events such as interest-rate decisions and inflation releases. The free plan covers up to 15 stocks, plus 5 for each friend you refer, and you update your holdings by hand. Pro removes the watchlist cap and adds portfolio analytics, advanced dividend views, custom assets, API access and a connection to Excel and Google Sheets. If dividends are the reason you track, our guide on how dividends are taxed covers what the payouts mean at tax time.

Broker sync is Connect, sold separately at $0.99 a week. It runs through SnapTrade, and Stock Events says your brokerage credentials are encrypted and stored only by SnapTrade, so Stock Events has no access to your login. Connect covers brokerages, crypto exchanges and wallets with unlimited connections; Stock Events notes that Interactive Brokers can take 1 to 2 business days to connect. Stock Events GmbH is a German company. Its prices are in US dollars, but we did not find a list of supported brokers on its pages, so check that yours connects before paying for a year. We also found no US tax reports and no statement of how returns are calculated.

A hypothetical cost: you hold 25 stocks at two brokers, more than the free plan's 15, and you want them to sync. Pro on the yearly plan is $49.99 (month to month it would be $7.99 x 12 = $95.88, so yearly saves $45.89, the 48% Stock Events advertises). Connect adds $0.99 x 52 = $51.48. The year comes to $49.99 + $51.48 = $101.47, about twice the Pro price. Entering trades by hand instead keeps it at $49.99.

Who Stock Events fits, and who should skip it

A good fit if

  • You hold dividend stocks and want a phone calendar of payouts and earnings dates.
  • Your portfolio is 15 stocks or fewer and you are fine updating it by hand: the free plan covers that.
  • You want stock data in Excel or Google Sheets, which Pro connects to.

Look elsewhere if

  • You need capital-gains and dividend tax reports: Sharesight is built around them.
  • You want deeper dividend forecasts and portfolio analytics: Snowball Analytics.
  • You want a free open-source tracker with time-weighted and IRR returns that keeps data on your computer: Portfolio Performance.

Limitations to know

  • The free plan is capped at 15 stocks (plus 5 per referral). [1]
  • If you take the trial, the yearly fee is charged after 7 days unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. [1]
  • Interactive Brokers connections can take 1 to 2 business days before data arrives. [1]
  • Stock Events AI is labelled for general informational and educational purposes, not financial advice. [4]
  • We found no tax reports and no statement of whether returns are time-weighted or money-weighted.

How we researched this review

We did not get paid or receive a free account for this page. We read Stock Events's own pricing page, help center, security and privacy pages and app-store listing on October 19, 2026, quoted each fact from those pages, and link every one below. We did not run a long-term hands-on test, so we do not score the app; where a point rests on what the company says rather than something we can check, we attribute it to Stock Events. Cost figures are our own arithmetic. We re-check prices and plans about once a month and log changes in the table above.
